It's about time we start enforcing the laws regarding these ILLEGAL ALIENS(not undocumented workers), and get them the hell out, and prevent more from coming!
You want to immigrate LEGALLY , and contribute positively and call yourself (in english) an AMERICAN ? Fine, then welcome to my country!
But hey, if you want to sneak in, overstay your visa, steal identities by way of phony/stolen Social Security cards,(which, by the by, does not constitute the paying of taxes, nor does sales tax) work under the table, send all of your money back to whatever hellhole you crawled out of, have countless anchor babies, receive free medical care....
then you get NO sympathy and NO support from me, and millions like me!!
GET OUT!!!
WAKE UP BUSH,MCCAIN, KENNEDY AND THE REST OF YOU WORTHLESS POLITICOS!!
STOP WORRYING ABOUT POTENTIAL LOST VOTES , AND PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CITIZENS!!
Oh, and remember to wear black tomorrow. Go to work. Purchase goods and services as normal. And sing that anthem of ours loudly and proudly in english.Posted by Picasa

“The pen is mightier than the sword” So said George Bulwer Lytton, an English novelist in 1839. He was of course correct. Words that flow from the nib of the pen can indeed change the world. It behoves us therefore to use them cautiously.

If your point is that a country needs a sensible and effective emigration control policy, you are entirely right. If you are frustrated and want to have a rant about the politicians, go right ahead.

However your inference that all emigrants crawled out of a hellhole and are dishonest is incorrect and the words are intemperate and entirely inappropriate and regrettable.

Not all immigrants(not emigrants)- just the illegal ones, the ones that willingly choose to skirt the lawful methods of obtaining citizenship, they are the dishonest ones.
The ones that think that they are owed something just because they had to ILLEGALLY cross the United States border under harsh conditions, the ones who feel that they do not have to work towards EARNING all of the privileges and rights that being a citizen encompasses.
Are you from the U.S.? If not, where are you from, and what are the immigration policies in your country? In your country, is citizenship just tossed freely and without consideration to whomever, or are there strict rules and guidelines that need to be followed? If you are not a natural born or naturalised U.S. citizen, then do you not take seriously and with great pride your status as a citizen of your country? Do you not want to ensure that the citizens of your country, whether natural born or naturalised through the hard work that becoming a citizen entails, do you not want to ensure that there rights are protected and held dear, and that they are given consideration over any person who has decided to stay in your country illegally? Be honest. Look up the immigration policies for Sweden and Australia, to name a few; they are pretty tough, and as some here on the left would probably be want to think, unfair. But not in my opinion. Work hard, follow the rules,do what is necessary to become a citizen and please, take my hand in welcome. Oh, but I see, we in the U.S. should give anyone citizenship regardless, because of the fact that we are the U.S. WRONG.And it is a known fact that a tremendous percentage of the U.S's illegal visitors are from Mexico, which last I checked, was pretty much a hellhole, and damn close to being thrid world. Hell, if it were a great place to be, would they all be illegally crossing the borders??? Come off of your heady high horse, and be honest.
And maybe next time, have the intestinal fortitude to leave your name? I am always up for a good debate, but not from anyone named Anonymous who comes off as seemingly so above the fray, but cannot manage to use a real name. That, to me, is inappropriate and laughingly regrettable.
